* EEC 2003/102
Decision 2004/90/EC, which specifies the technical prescriptions
necessary to carry out the tests laid down in 2003/102/EC, has
been added.
* FMVSS 202
FMVSS 202a, an upgraded standard for improving occupant protection
in rear-end collisions, has been issued and will become mandatory
on or after September 1, 2008. In addition to various changes
to the existing requirements, the upgraded standard significantly
amends the dynamic compliance test option to encourage development
and use of active head restraint systems.
Automotive Regulations Information CD-ROM February 2005 is scheduled
to be
distributed on February 1, 2005 (Tuesday).
