To login, type your user ID number and password into the ID and PASSWORD boxes in the center of the Login page, and click the "Login" button.

When logged in, you will see the Top Page.
Under the "LATEST REVISIONS" bar, a list of revised regulations is shown.
To view the text of a regulation, click the number or title of the regulation.
To see past revisions, click the "Past Revisions" button.

"Global Menu" is always shown at the top of the page.
Global Menu buttons
To go to the Top Page, click the "TOP" button.
To go to the Regulation Search page, click the "REG SEARCH" button.
To logout, be sure to click the "LOGOUT" button, not the "X" button of the browser.
To go to pages in Japanese, click the "JAPANESE" button.
Click a button of a regulation group to go to the Regulation List page of that group.

A list of the latest revisions is shown for each date of update.
To see the text of a regulation, click the PDF file name on the right. The PDF text of the regulation will be opened in another window.
* To view PDF files, you must first install Acrobat Reader on your computer.
Click a date to view the list of regulations updated on that date.
(The dates correspond to the "Dates of update at JASIC" indicated in the "Revision History" page of each regulation.)

To see the text of a regulation shown in the "Regulation List" page, click the number or title of the regulation to go to the Regulation Text page.

For EEC regulations, the regulation numbers differ between original regulations and revised regulations. The revision history list helps you easily find the regulation you are looking for.
On the "EEC Regulations List Page", click the "EEC Revision History" button to go to the EEC Revision History page.
On the EEC Revision History List page, a list of EEC regulation numbers and revision directive numbers are shown.
In the EEC Regulation No. Search Box, type the whole or part of the number of the regulation you are looking for and click the "Search" button. The relevant number of the directive will be highlighted.
To go to the Regulation Text page, click the directive number.

A Regulation Text page is composed of the bookmark pane on the left and the text pane on the right.
The revised parts in the text of the regulation are shown in red.
The number of the regulation is shown on the upper left.
To search for a word or phrase in the text of the regulation, type the word or phrase in the Search box and click the "Search" button.
The results will be shown, with the word or phrase highlighted in the bookmark pane and the text pane.
To view a list of the most recently revised parts, click the "Latest Revision Information" button.
To view a revision history table, click the "Revision History Table" button to open another window.
To close the Revision History Table, click the "X" button on the upper right corner of the window.
Each line in the bookmark pane is a hyperlink to the associated section of the regulation text. To view a desired section, click the line of the bookmark.
Bookmarks that contain revised parts are shown in red.

Click the "JAPANESE" button in the text pane to view the corresponding Japanese text in another window.
* Pages opened in other windows do not have the Global Menu.
* To close pages in other windows, click the "Close" button on the lower right corner of the window or the "X" button of the browser.
Figures in the text pane are displayed in thumbnail mode.
Click the figure to open another window.
Click the thumbnail of the figure to show an enlarged figure in another window.
* To close a figure shown in another window, click the "X" button of the browser.
If the text of the regulation is longer than one page, it is shown on multiple pages.
In such a case, a navigation guide is shown at the bottom of the text pane.
Click a page number or "Previous" or "Next" to go to the page you want to view.
