At the 84th session of GRSG international meeting (May 5-9, 2003), the informal group on Common Tasks presented the final report on results of their activities that had been carried out for two years since October 2000 under the chairmanship of Japan. The meeting discussed article by article the draft regulation on categories, masses and dimensions (TRANS/WP.29/GRSG/2003/ 10) developed and submitted by the informal group.

Discussion on some wordings of the draft regulation will be carried over to the next GRSG international meeting to be held in October. The final draft will then be submitted to WP29.

Once the regulation is adopted, its content will be reflected in future GTRs.
