The Year 2008 Edition of Automobile Type Approval Handbook for Japanese Certification ("Blue Book") Published

The year 2008 edition of Blue Book contains Japanese regulations that have been issued or amended by the end of March 2008.
Recommended Device/System Requirements
To use the Blue Book CD-ROM, we recommend the following device/system requirements:
* Windows PC:
A CD-ROM drive; application memory of 128 MB or more; available hard disk space of 180 MB or more; Pentium CPU; platform with Windows OS (2000, XP, or Vista).
* Macintosh PC:
A CD-ROM drive; application memory of 128 MB or more; available hard disk space of 200 MB or more; PowerPC G3, G4, G5, or Intel processor CPU; platform with Mac OS X v.10.4.3 or higher.
How to Use the CD-ROM
All the Blue Book data in the CD-ROM are stored in the Adobe Acrobat format. To view the data, it is required to install (and set up) the version of Adobe Reader that is compatible with your OS. The CD-ROM contains Adobe Reader installation files for each OS. Please install the appropriate version for your use, as necessary. (Adobe Reader 8 is recommended for the year 2008 edition of Blue Book.)
