The year 2009 edition of Blue Book contains Japanese regulations that had been issued or amended as of the end of March 2009.
Recommended Device/System Requirements
To use the Blue Book CD-ROM, we recommend the following device/system requirements:

Windows[2000 (SP4),XP (sp2,3),Vista (SP1,2)]
CPU: Intel Pentium III or equivalent processor
Memory: 128MB of RAM (256MB recommended for complex forms or large documents)
Hard disk: 170MB of available hard-disk space
CD-ROM drive.
* Macintosh PC:
Mac OS X v10.4.11-10.5.5
CPU: PowerPC G3,G4,G5 or Intel processor
Memory: 128MB of RAM（256MB recommended for complex forms or large documents)
Hard disk: 170MB of available hard-disk space (additional space required for installation)
CD-ROM drive.
How to Use the CD-ROM
All the Blue Book data in the CD-ROM are stored in the Adobe Acrobat format. To view the data, it is required to install (and set up) the version of Adobe Reader that is compatible with your OS. The CD-ROM contains Adobe Reader installation files for each OS. Please install the appropriate version for your use, as necessary. (Adobe Reader 8 is recommended for the year 2009 edition of Blue Book.)
