The year 2011 edition of the Blue Book includes the Japanese automotive laws, regulations, notices, etc. on type approval implemented, amended or issued in Japan from April 2010 through March 2011.

To use the Blue Book CD-ROM, we recommend the following device/system requirements:

CPU: Intel Pentium III or equivalent processor
Memory: 128MB of RAM (256MB recommended for complex forms or large documents)
Hard disk: 170MB of available hard-disk space

* Macintosh PC:
Mac OS X v10.4.11-10.5.5
CPU: PowerPC G3,G4,G5 or Intel processor
Memory: 128MB of RAM（256MB recommended for complex forms or large documents)

How to Use the CD-ROM
The data on the CD-ROM is all provided in PDF format. In order to view documents, you must first have Adobe Reader for Windows or Mac installed on your computer.
The CD-ROM includes Adobe Reader setup programs for Windows and Mac. If you haven’t installed it yet, install the program according to instructions. (Adobe Reader 8 is recommended for the year 2011 edition of the Blue Book.)
